My cars in for fitting of Konis and springs also new brake pipes and Saturday will be spent cleaning it,then driving down ready for the show Sunday.Really looking forward to this year.

 

Thought I was ready, getting tyre scrub with any occupants in the rear so may need to change tyres or come in our focus st-2

Hopefully just cleaning other than tyres.

 

Escos shat its box last week so ordered a fully rebuilt one today being built up tomorrow
Then being sent out to the garage that's doing the work for Thursday and hopefully collect Friday then plenty of cleaning to be done

 

First show of the season for me... So will have a steady run down...

Been a busy year for me with no time out so just wanna enjoy Fordfair...

 

going to be a long weekend for me. start work saturday 6am untill 2pm, dash home for a shower, drive to chichester to pick up my doris, stay in chichester saturday night then up early sunday to travel to silverstone. might give the car a wash between now and then.

 

Sort of just had a new addition to the family but been given my weekend pass to go now lol may or may not give it a wash but either way traveling down Saturday so I don't over sleep Sunday lol

 

half the people booked on the passionford stand still have jobs to do and some even getting their cars MOT'd (you know who you are ) typical last minute brigade you gotta love them

as for me been planning this show since january so apart from recruiting some helpers for the stand 1st thing I'm done

 

Plenty of cleaning and fitting a few new bits like oil cap and wipers if they turn up in time

 

I was till it overheated yesterday only a faulty stat so not a bad fix better give it a wash

 

Well it's taxed, tested and insured.

Just need to fill it with fuel.

Mines always ready too. It just needs filling with fuel and some camping gear ow and of course beer.

 

Mine is up and running currently, but that may all change in the next few days

Still, like every foud owner, I do pack a spare car just in case

 

Mine's still in bits in the garage, coming in my brothers ST170 converted Escort GTi. Will be shopping for RS Turbo parts

 

I will be setting up around 6.30 onwards fella, its mainly sorting out peoples parking abilitys or lack of them

I'm gutted it's not on Saturday as going to England for the weekend but going to my nieces christening so can't come! not impressed

had a chap email me yesterday who explained he was a ford fanatic and no longer owned one but wondered if I could let him on our stand in his vauxhall , he must have been on drugs

 

Sunday will be a day of rest for me, and I have no intention of doing anything other than pottering about in the garage / garden and BBQ'ing if the weather's good I'll follow it all in pictures when you lot get back !

Not really ashamed no. They're as proud as Ford boys - albeit less loyal to the brand. In Europe some owners rebadge their Opels as Vauxhalls!

 

Mine went for an MOT before national day but one of the coilovers decided to feok up big time so only just got them rebuilt and back on the car, so i have a good excuse this time for being last minute

I have no excuse for all the other times i'm Mr last minute though

New box was sent out today and garage are ready and waiting for it to arrive tomorrow all other little bits have been done and just fit box and fill with new oils
And then for me to collect it and start the cleaning lol

 

Well I've got the escort washed so I can get some wax on it in the next day or so, then a bit more cleaning here and there and thats it ready.
