1.3 ka gear box, so the box from any mk1 ka with over head valve engine??

if you have a cvh then i'm sure its a no go. Starter and oil filter will conflict.

I think it would be very tight if possible, the rear breather would need relocating too etc, be easier to find a mk5/6 escort front starter box imo.

MK5 escort IB5, but use the ka1.3 gearset and your BC LSD
If you want near as standard RS turbo ratios you need to use a puma 1.7 Final drive, but this requires the LSD to be machined.

Gear boxes scare the shit out of me I had one apart once never again I just wount get it back together and with 3 boxes just to make 1 I'd rather Zetec the car pmsl
