Default Importing mk1 and 2 escorts

A lad I know has asked me if there is a market for mk 1 and 2 escorts being imported from Africa?

Obviously solid shells, right hand drive etc....

Has anyone ever done it?

It's nothing new, there are already people doing it.

A guy I know is a navigator in a mk2 Escort Rally car, the bloke he navs for does it.

Some of them come over as proper minters!

Here is his site - http://www.hotwheelsmotorsport.com/

Well a lot of the cars on that site have *SOLD* on them, so someone's buying them.

They aren't cheap!

yes its worth it, thee is a FB page called 'we love 1980's cars'

i seen on the page some one was advertising/selling about 7/8 imported 3 door mk1 and mk2 escorts. i've no issue with it, rather see them over here than being banger raced over there

Lad in Mansfield has been doing it for ages and he's not skint, so definitely worth it if you can.
