Allegedly, a "superhero", with glowing hands, zoomed in at the last second, and teleported a cyclist from being hit by a truck to the side of the road, then walked into the darkness.

Looks to me like special effects. Not Hollywood calibre, but I've seen worse on the SyFy channel....
