Default Mk 2 cortina cosworth

Not really into build threads but now its nearly finnished i thought i would post up a couple of photos, been working on it for the last couple of years on and off its now on the road with just a few odds and sods to finish off.

Spec

Alen dent cage/space frame, Cross member, TCA's and comp struts, drop linked ARB.

5 link rear end with narrowed atlas axle and welded in tall turrets, cosworth AVO coilovers all round, cosworth brakes front and rear.

Engine was built and mapped by Harvey Gibbs, 200 block, 6 long studs, T34 .48, 55lbs injectors it made 390bhp and 400ftlbs, Airtec rad and inntercooler, I tuned full 3'' exhaust.

T5 box, helix paddle clutch with hydraulic conversion.

Wheels are comp ML's 9x15 rear & 7x15 front Avon CR500 tyres,

Hope to have the car at a few of the shows this summer and already booked in for Batlesbridge.

Sorry for the poor quality picture will get some better ones soon.

very nice! do you have any issues with the hydraulic handbrake and MoT's? friend of mine fitted one and it failed on it! something to do with needing an actual mechanical "lock"

Yer was funny when we both said we were going Grey, really happy with the colour photos don't show how much sparkle is in it in the light then it darkens up in the evening light.

My mate is an MOT examiner. He says as long as there is a mechanical ratchet on the handbrake lever then it will pass an MOT.
