I went. I'm so gutted I didn't book track time cos there only seemed like there were 2 maybe 3 groups running. Loads of track time available.

 

Enjoyed it today, some nice Cossies about, Jamsport Focus is a quick car and the a White Mk1 Focus too.

Did you see the metro? Spoke to the guy and it's got a Audi 20v turbo 280bhp. Was rapid.

 

Yep see the metro was a quick car. That mk 1 focus was quick. mk2 focus was all noise.

 

Was some good cars on track but some slow driving too. The RS direct fiesta was one. Unless he was going slow to advertise.

 

Did anyone see this Fiesta burst into flames just off the main straight late in the day

was a good day,would be interested in knowing what happened to the poor fez... i heard a bang then flames and thought thats a bit big to be coming out the exhaust lol..by the time id got down to where the car stopped it had been put out...ive seen alot of people moaning about the amount of ST's there today...

 

I was there on track, got lots of laps in nice and quiet

 

I was there, first time to a show for a few years and now want an RS again lol.

one of the reasons i didnt book track time was because i always track with my brother but he has a civic so thought he would not get on. but the track was full of non fords. not that i care to be honest as im a car fan but gutted i didnt book on.

That was me, it was groups. Should have taken my spare set of wheels road tyres were letting me down

 

Combe is supposed to be quite harsh on tyres ?

Good day though, there was one heavy down poor for about 10 minutes and all the concours chaps were rushing round getting the covers on. Some cracking cars up there, especially like the older motors like RS3100's and the Escort Twin cam that I looked at.

 

The guy is a mate of mine that's been coming down my garage for a social for at least 20 years, it's a well built car. I sorted the adaptor plate and flywheel and mapped it for him, he did everything else on his drive!

he was a nice knowledgable guy. he showed me the engine and it looked awesome in a metro bay. Although not a ford it was the car of the show for me.
