Had a few things to add to my car for a while and a few jobs to do. Thought it was about time I got my finger out. Was toying with leaving the car standard but so glad I added these parts. Here's the car before.
The 1st thing I've just done is fitted a new expansion bottle as the old one was yellow and tired looking.

Then I acquired a set of rs softlines from eBay. Think I will refurb them in silver eventually but for now I'm going to keep them like this.

I've also fitted new discs , pads and koni's which I'll upload a few pics later.

 

Here's the wheels closer up hard to tell from the 1st pic.

 

Also just had a bonnet painted up. Had a nitemare with colour matching this. Ended up been painted twice.

Here's under the wing before I started.


The shocks are crap , very bouncy wallowing into bends. Not good , brakes also crap so going to upgrade the lot. 1st up new disc n pads.
bit blingy I know but if I don't like it's easily painted black. Then onto the shock. The ones that came off were newly fitted when I bought the car. Defo no good in fact dangerous if you want to drive hard. . Probably not everyone's taste. But I like it , and I hope once the wheels fitted you won't see to much.

 

Here's the wheel now on. It's dropped the car by 25mm. Not over the top and the painted disc and calipers aren't to obvious. Probably won't stop clean long.

 

Back springs fitted also. Sits a little higher at the rear but I don't mind that look. Hears the rear softline fitted. I didn't dislike the original wheels but I defo prefer the softline.

 

Also started the front passenger side upgrade.

Got the arch liner to fit into this side. I do prefer without it. But if it's kept the car this rot free for this long it's going back in.

 

What kind of tires are you using? And what size?

Thanks for positive coments. The wheels are now silver. Sometimes wish i'd left them as they were. Tyres are Kuhmo 195 40 17.

 

Here's a pic as it looks now. I may go back to the darker colour on the alloys. Still need a rolling road setup. Also thinking about Getting white hoses for it before i take it for setup.
