Default Sun visors fitment with a cage !!!!

.

Anyone got any pics of how they have fitted sun visors into an S2 with a full cage???

I've converted my car to YB RWD, but using a standard safety devices bolt in 6 point cage, now the only difference in fitment is I had to remove and replace the 4 feet that bolt to the actual floor pan, the rear tubs are standard escort so I fitted the rear section 1st and then did the front 4 point, now there is no way I can get the visor back into there original position.

Is this a common issue or is it just mine

any pics of the visors fitted with a cage would be very helpful.

Since my cage went in the visors have been permanently down. Not my everyday car so just put up with it.

Mine don't fit. I was either going to just put a sun strip in, or make some little carbon sheets on small hinges attached to the cage.

Sun strip, and a bit of window tint film lower down under the sun strip

Angle grinder, cable ties, and Roberts your mothers brother!

Did exactly that and my visors now fit onto the cage.

Sun strip way forward as cage manufactures advise not to drill them.

Same as Oranoco, when I had my RST I just fitted the cage in with the sun visors in the down position and then they stayed like that...

Check out my cage/roof guide on the RSOC S2 section. There is/was loads of pics. May be some in my resto thread on there too.
