Default fuel filling into manifold and cylinders rs turbo zetec

this is driving me mad!, my zetec turbo 2.0 on fiesta inlet manifild and rail, standard fiesta rs regulator and feedand return lines, when i prime the pump and turn it off i can hear fuel pooring into the cylinders so i have luckily not tried to turn engine without checking to prevent bending a rod etc..... but for some reason its still doin it i thought a injector could ve the fault so i changed them same thing!! had to syringe it all out, yesterday the whole intake syatem filled up with fuel when the pump was left running to the point it filled cooler and looked for a exit out of air filter!!........what could be causing this? fuel pressure regulator? return line blocked?

check ecu fir meltdown?, the root of my problems began when i tried to start the car yesterday norning and it wouldnt go, after work i stuck leads on it and it did the same thing at this point accidentally left fuel pump running, i beleive by doing this i ruptured a seal somewhere so i assumed a injector after funding ports and cylinders filled with fuel, its on a emerald ecu,

if i disconnect the return line on bottom of regulator and run the pump only should fuel be pouring out of the return?

im hoping my regulato could be seized shut creating a high pressure in the rail causing the fuel to leak past injectors...?

I would remove rail and cut holes in a plastic bottle, put injectors in,
yes remove return, catch spilled fuel if not faulty
also seized or knackered fpr can pump petrol through the vacuum to inlet pipe,
do you have a spare fpr,
didn`t know you had emerald and a fuel pump switch you left switched on

The injectors are supplied with ignition 12 Volt live, the earth is switched through the ECU. Check the injector wiring, if the wiring from injectors to ECU shorts out then the injector will fire constantly, all the while the ignition is on.

yes i have a spare fpr, i will try it on tomorow eill the pressurebof the fuel not pop injectors out if likr you say i unbolt the rail and try and idnetify the faulty injector, yea its ob emerald and a switch to run the pump i think leaving it on could have split diaphragm and allowed fuel through the fpr vavvum pipe as you said,

also worth mentioning once i changed ibjectors and gaskets today and fired pump, i had the ignition off ao the ecu would also have been off

if you damage reg seal to rail, a top injector seal is same size, will be vac pipe,
once split its the path of least resistance, good luck
