Default Modified mk3 escort rs1600i race,track car

Here is my original rs1600i
The car is mint no rust no nothing its in perfect condition
Its 1 of the best looking escorts about
Gets so much attention and looks everywhere

I've got 2 of these and 1 is completely original and this wich is completely the opposite
Non sunroof model so very very rare

So much paperwork with it loads of it see last pic

Was registered on 01/01/83 so has to be the 1st out on the production line that month

98k on the clock

Spec
1.9 litre cvh American tall block

Piper 285deg ultimate road cam

Kawasaki Zx6-r bike carbs
(Set up by and fitted by bogg brothers)

Engine was custom built 10 thousand miles ago

Bonnet raisers

Manual choke (works perfect)

20mm wheel spacers stick on nicely

Sierra cosworth front disks and brakes and rear disk conversion

New roll cage built in

Straight through exhaust sounds lovely

Custom carpet fitted in the back

No rear seats

Mint standard front seats

Lowered on springs

Absolutely mint engine bay

Running 170-180bhp

Mint borbet alloys
Fronts 7j rears 9j

Nice stereo with all different connectivety bits on it

Tax and motd I use it daily and runs perfectly

Sometimes caliper sticks but 9 times out of 10 its fine but just being honest

Look at prices on ebay 1 just went on ebay for 7664.21

Here's the link on ebay if you need to look yourself 191179730859

And another on there for even more money went for 8.449
231242372474

So let's not be silly with the offers

Its on ebay for 6500

Swaps or cash what you got?
Ideally classic ford escort or 3 door sierra cosworth
Cash either way

The bigger money ones your quoting were standard cars which is what most people are looking for , what you have is a 16i with all the 16i bits removed
It will sell but at a more realistic price IMO

I've got to agree with the above comment tho. Looks a really nice car but it's missing too much of it's original parts to be worth the asking price when you compare what other old school cars are out there at the same sort of money. My 2p and glwts
