You can get LSD off the shelf to fit the english axle or get a specialist to fit it for you.
Fostek engineering http://www.fostek.co.uk/

Or depending on power a baby atlas.
This is what i have on mine

None yet but will get some soon.
What about the standard carbs what would be a good change for them for a bit more power?

Twin 40's good for a 1.6
Retro looking aswell

Had this sort of setup years ago with a 2.25 manifold & system, sounds perfect...crisp exhaust note with induction growl,,,,

I know it's nothing to do with me. Do you mind if i ask why are you modifying it? I mean it's a harrier prob the rearest of all sporting escorts. Surely it's just good fun to drive a untouched harrier???

I have changed my mind in modifying now. I wanted a bolt in bolt out job but its unlikely to get one so I am just going for a stainless steel manifold and system now.

Nothings too good to modify, and you can always convert them back to standard, a well modified escort is an epic car to drive! (Haven't been in a harrier but have been in mk2s)
