Default Best Way To Remove Window Tint Film

Thinking about attempting to take off some window tint film that's on a car I've bought!
Any advice for the vest way to do the job?

when i did mine, it literally just peeled of, did my full mondeo in 10 minutes, but then took over and hour to remove th glue with brake cleaner, glass cleaner, industrial glass cleaner, hot water, soapy water, hair drier. i tried everything

i bought a cheap second hand , hand held steam cleaner of ebay done the job nicely

plenty of soapy water and a stanley blade to remove the glue, horrible job

Heat gun and peel slowly to try and provoke the glue to stick to the film and not to the window, any glue left on the window can be removed with a scrub pad used for cleaning fish tanks as this does not scratch the glass.

All depends on how long the films been on i suppose.

sharp blade to peel the film off, then a gallon of thinners and a few rags to clear the glue.
should only take an hour to get round, but the smell will last a couple of days unless the windows are left open.

Take it along to Fimmo at auto tint Ron, for the cost its not worth the hassle.

i used a steamer took the tint off 5 windows in 10 mins with no glue left on the windows

wire wool and thinners for the glue as mad as it sounds it will not scratch the glass, i use the same combo for overspray
