just wanna know what offset they should be as ya can`t really trust the
kid behind the the counter at halfords

iirc, ET35, but don't rely solely on my information before spending your hard earned.

i had some borbet that were definitely 7.5 x 17 ET35, and they fitted fine, and I now have RS 7 spokes that are also 7.5 x 17 and I think ET38. the 7 spokes don't clear 2wd 4 pots though, you need a 5mm spacer. but that may not be the case on all ET38's as the spoke design could give more clearance.
