To be honest I think its a fair price, I am not in it for a profit... I will break even at £3800 so hopefully it will go to a good home.

It needs a few minor things which i'll list now

speedo cable

set of clocks as the rev counter doesn't work

drivers recaro, tear in side bolster

Sunroof now works in both positions tilt and slide

when the clutch got done the gears haven't been set up perfect, all gears work but due to the gear linkage being slightly worn there was a bit of trouble setting them up. Worked perfect before.

lacquer round a couple of the windows has come away, nothing major you have to really look for it to notice it, just being honest, I was quoted £250 to sort it out by chips away.

Its just had a new radiator
clutch less than 100 miles on it
4 x toyo proxes less than 100 miles on them
new ford oe water hose
2 new rear compensators
new original back light clusters
new engine mounts

I also have a spare LSD gearbox I will give away with the car, it needs to be recon as the syncro bearing is away.

Get the sunroof open and check it out. Sorting would be a big point as they can rot like the clappers up there. I opened mine for the first time in 7 years, due to the roll cage, and was gobsmacked to find it mint up there

 

Looks a good clean car.

 

Does it come with the other wheels shown in some of the pictures?

 

I've seen this up close and it's well worth the petrol money to go and view it.

Shame you have to sell mate but work pays the bills sadly.

I'd like to get my hands on a nice sapphire 4x4 cosworth next year and attend all the shows again! I have been made to feel more than welcome by the RS owners club and It was worth getting the car just to meet a great group of people!

I will be working away for 4 months soon so the car would only be left on my drive, I might as well have a few grand in my pocket and put the rest to a cosworth in the future.

Tayfix, it comes with a good set of standard wheels with brand new Toyo proxes tyres.

 

Pirce drop to £3450.00ono due to work commitments I would rather not have the car sitting on my drive whilst I am working away. I am happy to sell it and buy a Cosworth next year.
