Sorry to have to do this but don't want anyone else getting screwed by him. Mikey advertised a saph 17th May and I put down a deposit of £500 on the same day.

Now to be kinda fair Mikey told me three days later that the car had been in for an mot and it needed a lot more welding done than he thought and a noise coming from head now and said he would refund the money. I thanked him for being honest but now I'm not sure if it had anything wrong at all and maybe it got sold to someone else! This was 20th may.

On the 24th may I asked if the money would be refunded through the bank that I had used or did he need the details again as I had noticed nothing had come back yet, he said he did and I have them to him again. Now basically since then I have been chasing him for the money back, doesn't answer his phone, neither does his wife! And ignores messages, I have requested that he doesn't use Facebook messenger and actually picks up the phone but he doesn't. I have been perfectly pleasant but keep getting treated like a mug.

I have now been to see the cops and told Mikey I was doing so. Luckily I got a decent one. He did mention the usual "civil matter" but actually said he can't stand people doing this sort of thing as it was actually fraud! Asked me to try contact him one more time and mention that I had talked to police, if no luck then come in and make a report so they could proceed with fraud charges.

If anyone has any information please let me know so I can either use it myself or pass it on to cops.

He advertised some parts on facebook beginning of last week, I paid for a pair of 3dr hubs posted.
After not letting me know if he had posted them or not I messaged him and he said he did it today (which was last Wednesday).
Nothing has been received, He doesn't answer messages on facebook when I asked for tracking info so I have opened a dispute up on paypal and had no reply yet

Obviously a scamming C*unt

 

I wouldn't be surprised if he started off by selling something he had every intent to send but forgot, spent the money and couldn't afford the refund and just keeps doing it over and over to try and pay back the people he's scamming, just buying a bit more time but doesn't seem like anyone's getting there money back so maybe he is just scamming people and keeping the cash :/ there's need to be some sort of forum wide warning.

 

just email facebook to tell them that this page has been set up to scam folks out of their hard earned cashola and they'll simply shut it down

you just need to find out where he lives, obvious if you've got his details etc, and then simply tell the bank what you have had done to you, or paypal, or whoever is listening

then i'd advise you not to send skips to his house, or pizza's or put his phone number in gay porn mags, or use it to advertise "free kittens/puppeis" etc because that would be naughty

You'd think he might be trying to raise cash etc maybe he did forget. But I work offshore and so does he, I know he works in Angola for a decent company so I know he gets paid around 10k a month, he also has just bought Ronnie Amis shell and a nice new engine for his fiesta cosworth. Believe me the boy has the cash he's rolling in it! I have now got a lead onto where he lives, luckily since I have been offshore for years I have lots of mates up that way. Someone will be paying him a visit soon...

 

How did you pay, if it was through your bank I would speak to somebody about this within the bank as you may have legal protection, if it was paypal did you pay it in normal way or the dreaded gift ? as still worth letting them know of his antics to protect others

I don't pay him so I would have no idea what he earns, gauging by his cars and the amount of money he owes various people I highly doubt he makes anywhere near that. People/company's are always chasing him for money owed from what I've heard.

Sadly I paid through the bank and they have said that because I transferred it from my account to his there's nothing they can do. It was all done through Facebook unfortunately. He works as a mechanic with seadrill in Angola and will be earning just under 10k a month. I work offshore in Africa to and for a similar company so I have a good idea of how much he earns. I heard the debt collectors are at his door quite often and that's why he stays at the caravan park a lot.

 

I wish I was on 10k a month. 120k a year.

10,000 a month is a very unrealistic figure for someone who works adhoc for an agency company a few months a year. 20,000 30,000 a year would be more realistic. Who said he worked for that company?

Right Steve, now that am actually now able to reply to you and your post below on PF and get back on to Facebook although not fully as per normal still due to personal circumstances etc. I've now managed to read a post been sent to me regarding this matter even although sending proof of payment being sent across.. I'd also like you to read some of the links below in one of the personal reasons as into why I've not been able to reply and I'll also now inform you of more too.

1 thing I ask is for you to also tell me who the heck is saying that I've got "debt collectors" at my door hence why I stay in a caravan at times as this matter will be dealt with via a legal forum.
