My magenta 4x4 update 02/11/2014
Been lurking for a while now this is my 3rd cossie I started off in an escort cossie when I was 20 here it is..

I move out from my mums and had my daughter who is three now add love cossie car so the escort was sold and I brought a 2wd saff..

Which brought out an animal in me so many near death experience so I sold it to mate mate who still has it
Brought a frs mk1 hated every minute of it
so sold that and brought my 4x4 which was completely standard just stage one which is abit of a shock since all my cossie have been stage 3
This I'd how I got it

Then I changed the side indercators to orange ones...

Then I had a nice bargin for some brand new comp th et35in the boxes for £700 off the rsoc
My daughter giving her approval

Had some tyres fitted to them today so when I got home from work I fitted them up what do you guys think? To me they transform the car

Wouldn't mind fitting some flush centre cap but what do you do with the rears as the drive shaft nut sticks out?

She had her mot Saturday passed no advisories well chuffed
Next thing to do are front splitter new hoses and up the power but proper happy with the car and I have new disc and pads to fit all round
Cheers Martin

Looks like someone's been playing with the filters, reset the filters in camera mode, if the three circles at bottom right are coloured you've a filter selected.press circles and select norm, my pics on i5 are very good, much better than i4s

Well it was over 7weeks ago my car go a little knock work has started!
Taking out a couple off dents out the top of the wing

There was a car park dent in this rear door is been removed

Couple of bit that was to perfect on the rear bumper

Front bumper started on

All glued back if if was coming away any where

New bumper brackets fitted

All primed

Bumper trail fitted one of the straightest bumpers on a saff I have seen as this lets most cars down imo

Then while I popped over to R W masters today my rs500 spliter turn up so I thought I would try the fit

And it's one of the best fitting splitters I've even seen so anyone looking to buy one Ian Herron is the man imo and I work in composites so I'm picky when I see repo stuff but this is a work off art and I no the effort that goes in to get a product as good as this so for 130 quid is worth every penny !!
Also got new genuine bump strips to go round the front and back bumpers 2 new genuine Indercators and new decals for the wheels
So glad my cars coming back together
Cheers Martin

Very nice, wheels are stunning slightly period, subtle and very hard lol, suits the colour too, I like this style of wheel on any staff really suits them. Escos was in my fav colour, mum one day, well probably not
Keep up the top job, love the attention to detail on the front bumper, how ford meant to get it.

Looks really good on the new wheels! What glue did you use for the bumper? Mines starting to go a bit here and there, the worst bit was the middle bar, but got rid of that!
Bit more of an update will be finished tomorrow as it's getting painted tonight pushed into the oven ready for degressing and masking up!

All baged up ready too go getting exciting now

Base coating on ready for colour which I have got the paint the whole car was painted in in 2009 spies hecker ment to be really good paint so the body shop says it's not the normal stuff he uses as its to dear

But had to leave so didn't see the colour and the clear going on but when I get to work in the morning I'll pop in see how it looks
While working on my car I noticed this broken the washer pump for the headlights so I got a new one as you do

These are the decals I got for the wheels from dmb graphics

Hopefully a better update tomorrow

Well as it was the weekend set out to do a few bits to the car first job was fit the wheel decals so off with the first wheel

All cleaned with autosmart g101 and using my kranzle

All measured and taped in place

Stuck down!

So I did that to all four wheels clean all my wheels arches and just to show the backs of the wheels are just as good as the front

Once back on the ground I thought I would give it a little clean!
Snow foamed up

Washed and rinsed off

The end result all auto smart products used

And today went out for Sunday lunch so I took a cheeky pic

Cheers Martin
