you need to fit a boss to your front pipe of the exhaust, I have some pictures on my pc at home that should help.

needed to know if the original ECU escort rs turbo can read the lambda signal connector that would connect any reference and lambda probe

and changing the ECU? the mfi xr3i cabrio model has some lambda probe and flowmeter, and ECU orange label with reference 86AB12K517RA

90 hp catalyst XR3i. Wasn't sold in the UK, so this is the wrong place to ask for information about this engine.

After all, it's a N/A engine, parts aren't interchangeable.


Do you want to run your turbo with a woking catalytic converter? HJS made a conversion kit for the MFI turbo nearly 30 years ago. The Turbo had Euro1 emission then, resulting in lower tax and you're allowed to use the car in nowadays Umweltzonen (low-emission zones). These kits are rare as rocking horse shit and worth a fortune if the ever show up on ebay or a forum.
