Hi guys first time here, was wondering about the ford 6006e 6disc CD player, will it fit into my mk2 mondeo ok, i have the rds 5000 at the mo with the changer under the seat, its gone wrong, so was looking at either the rds6000 or the 6006e, if any one can give me any tips it would be great , bazza

 

its a straight fit but their reputation for going wrong is legendary and you cant plug a external changer into it not that you should need to if working fine more a case FYI

 

i had one in my mk2 mondeo. The cd sledge used to throw a paddy and lock up or end up wanting to add another cd into a full slot. Although my speaker plug had to have the little lugs trimmed so it fitted in the set
