Default wideband lambda,what kit??

Looking to get a wideband lambda kit. I have looked at AEM and INNOVATE on ebay, but which kits are best and what sort of readings am I looking for? The tunner fitted a boss and used a volt meter when mapping my car and said it is worthwhile fitting a kit. They seem to display 12.6 on the dial in pics,is this a volt reading? Any help appreciated.

AEM are very accurate too, got one fitted to my 3 Door, so very expensive either.
