very nice car, check temperature guage tho

 

temp gauge has the wrong sender in it, i tried 3 different ones and gave up in the end, so i now have a proper gauge, its runs at less than 80 degrees, so happy days.

Cheers, i had a nightmare with it, i had one from matt lewis.....wrong, one from burton power.......wrong and even one from ford at over 40 notes and still bloody wrong

So opted for the race tech gauge and I'm now getting a true reading

 

Thats the route Ive gone. Was worried my head gasket was away,,but with good compression ive ruled it out.
Has new stat, new radiator, new header tank, and new sender ( which Ive since found out is meant for the valencia engine).
So waiting for my gauge to arrive, and hopefully I can put its sender into the original position

 

Thats stunning. I wasnt expecting to see the turboed engine under the bonnet.
