I bought this as a doner car to build a shell up I have but I now have the majority of the parts so seemed a shame to break it up.

1990 clocks showing approx 67k although no history so probably more.
12 months MOT.

Running stage 3, rs500 intercooler, alloy rad, scorpion exhaust, lowered on springs.

Inside the car is VERY clean, seats are good slight sagging but great for the age, dash is nice not full of holes & carpet is nice a clean.

Outside is the car is solid not a bit of rust on the arches, doors, wings roof or underneath. The paint isn't great usual stone chips etc but washes up well & still has a nice shine.

Engine is good pulls very strong, no smoke, no piston slap on start up although could probably do with a set of tappets but to be fair almost completely goes once properly warm.

Gearbox feels great it's smooth for a t5 feels fine up & down the gears. Diff is also good.

There are things to mention:

All 4 jacking cap covers missing.
Teeth on the Sunroof mechanism worn so can't be opened.
Car was originally white.
Rear windows sometimes don't work (poss switch).

Overall a good car ideal if you are looking for something to get in & drive!

Not many in this colour around.

A full hpi says the car was total loss in 1994 & was actually red!!!


No offers £4000 takes it or i'll break it.

Any signs of the red paint anywhere then, if not I'd be suspicious of this.

Obviously been reshelled when totalled.

The floors not been tampered with.
