here is your chance to buy a very rare xr2 which has full sierra rs cosworth 4x4 running gear.

car has been in fast ford magazine twice, one mini feature and one full 7 page double feature.

it is fully road legal and has a year's mot

escort cosworth rear ARB

very extreme and well made wrc spec roll cage

escort cosworth alloys with good year eagle f1s (road use)
wolf race 17inch light weight alloys with yokohama super soft slicks
cheep 16 inch wheels with yokohama wet slicks

that's the basic spec of the car

engine has been full rebuilt and has covered just over 1000 miles
oil and filter was changed at 100, 500 and 1000 miles so is fully run in. car is now ready for a full set up / map will easily see 380 to 400 bhp with the current set up. or with a decent inlet cam you would expect to see around 450. pistons were chosen with large valve cut outs to allow the use of big profile cams.

car has stone chips and cracks were the arches join the car through having it to low and scuffing. dose not scuff at current height. fuel gauge has stopped working. steering wheel sits squint (should manage to fix that this week)

this is a very serious track car. not for the feint hearted. will sell slightly cheeper with out the track tyres as I no of a buyer for them. also my sell my brian james trailer with the car. would want 10k for the lot.

very reluctant sale. I would love to keep the car but I just don't have the time to use or maintain it

yea Richard did and amazing job building the car. it really needs to been seen to appreciate it

cheers, sure is. one to annoy the purists haha. its a good engine. here's a better pic of it from its good side . robbed the tyres of the other 2 rondells as the wheels need a refurb. its on the long list of jobs to do to finish it off
