Could anyone help me by telling me where the aerial cable routes from the boot rubber and can be found where behind the dash ie along the roof down drivers door pillar. Iv never had the radio work whilst iv owned the car snd believe last owner cut the cable behind the dash but dont know where behind the dash to look

where is your aerial, i know the cable route but only on a cab and think the location of the aerial itself is diffrent on a hard top mk4

 

The Ariel starts in the boot lid then joins on the roof and runs along the drivers side roof channel and down the A pillar and then runs around the dash clocks to the stereo.
The Ariel works though the rear dimister
