hya i am fairly new to this sight and this is my first post anyway i am part way threw my escort series 2 restoration and i have just bought a set of gaz coilovers and have been told the mounts would need to be seam welded to stregthen them when using coilovers so i was hoping for somone to kindley post some pics to send me in the right direction thanks very much warren

 

Can anyone help I had a quick play with my Gaz coilovers on Saturday and I'm not to sure if I have fitted them correctly :/ I have pollybush top mounts so I have basically just removed the coilovers from the box and removed the top nut then put the bushes on top of the strut then placed them threw the strut/arch then put the other part of the bush on top then the metal top hat then the 19mm nut back on top ? Is this right ? Many thanks warren
