Mechanically sound. Very reliable as it has been daily runner for the last 5 years. Bodywork needs some tlc for the first time. Haven't the time or space to tidy it up.

As you can see, it needs some attention paying to the nearside rear wheel arch mainly. The front bumper is missing the towing eye cover, and there is also a small crack. Some flat paint on the bonnet, and a litlle bubbling on the tailgate. The interior is in great condition. There are no rips or tears on the seats. There's good tyres on her and they are all matching.

It was advised on the rails last year, where I had them repaired.
At the time ,the sills were good. I have not had it on a lift since.
I only have photos of the exterior.

Have you thought of an E-BAY classified ad? That way people have to email you (or phone you if you put a number on) rather than bidding and then messing you about. It's got to be worth that money to the right person. It gets a lot of people looking at it and it's a set fee for 28 days, and it's not ridiculously expensive either.

My computer skills are limited, so I will get my brother to create an Ebay ad tomorrow.
I could have it SORN, but the place it would be kept is very unreliable.
Last thing anyone wants is to be told to shift a car with no legals on it.

 

Maybe put it up for £1100-1200 and then allow people to submit offers on the ad and I bet you'll get what you want for it.

 

Well, it turns out that the m.o.t is not due till the end of June.
So that's pretty much another month more than originally advertised.
She needs to go folks.

Rs stands for rally sport........ they built the rs2000 to rally in the fwd class, rs2000 named after the legend mk1's mk2's

Although you would class a rst fiesta escort as a true rs..... yes a few mk4 escorts got rallied but not many s1's and cant think of any fiestas.

Can't believe this hasn't sold, if I didn't have 2 cars that need work I'd buy this, you would probably be better of holding on to it getting it mot'd again and then selling it, I'm sure you'll get much more that way

 

Have you tried it on the rs owners club site, not sure what the rules are now on advertising, but got to be worth a go.

This really is cheap guys. If I had the space I'd have bought it. No room at the inn though. I've already got 4 cars myself and the missus has got one as well.
