Default New Alloys = Odd Noises

I've justed fitted a brand new set of RS 7 Spoke alloys to my S2 RST. On the first outing with them there seems to be a slight knocking noise coming from the back tyres and a rubbing noise from the front whilst braking, there seems around and inch of clearance between tyre and arch.
I installed the wheels using the original nuts from the standard alloys, have I done anything wrong or forgotten to do something?

I can't see where they're catching though, there seems enough clearance around all tyres?
Hows the new engine running? I'm going up to see Stu next Saturday to 'chat' about rebuild plans!

could be your wheel studs at the rear rubbing on your brakes try changing the studs for smaller ones. vauxhall studs are smaller hope that helps mate.

***t! Just had a look back through previous posts, apparently you should change the collets? Some additional ones arrived with the wheels, not sure how to use them though?

the engines fine, running sweet as a nut,
couls be inner arch on front when you brake, just have a look at your tyres and see if its caught any where
