Default Focus rs #2280

Ok guys, for sale is my focus rs, unfortunately I'm diabetic and have currently had my license taken off me so have no need for a car, but this is also why it has no mot/tax as it's not insured.
I'll give a quick run down so please ok me if you'd like some more info, I think it has potential for a track/weekend toy.

53 plate, currently on a private plate though
56k
Cat d repaired (was told it was the drivers rear 1/4)
No tax/mot
Modifications are, cat back, k&n gen II, wind deflectors, mud flaps, water temp gauge, tinted rear windows
Has engine start sticker, rear hinge covers but no stitched seats

Service history is only partial, I have all the receipts since I've owned it December 2011 -. It has lots of old mots and tax discs too.

Car was fine in January when I stopped driving it and starts fine still, however yesterday we noticed there is a manifold bolt missing causing an oil leak. I'd originally wanted close to £5k but taking this into account I'm after £4250.

I think it's a fair price to get it shifted, shame I can't drive to sort the mot or tax.

Just thought I'd let you all know so it saves you a day of driving hiring a trailor and £100 in derv like it just has me.

Car has bad scratches on all pannels wheels are kurbed. Passenger side rear quarter in question has runs in it.

Also had some impact on the front. Wings are out of line front bumper hanging and splitter ripped off.

Charge cooler rad bent and leaking power steering pipe in front bent. Also had a new filter and charge cooler pump so I genuinely think this has happens to the front in his 2 year ownership.

Not happy tbh.

I think this is a little harsh, I am no expert and to the untrained eye the runs in the paint aren't noticeable, they did not stand out to me. Scratches on a 10year old car, fucking hell really? There are no bad scratches/ key marks to note.

The power steering pipes were replaced by power engineering, all the work in the last two years has been done by them and has receipts. Anything that's needed doing has been done to my knowledge, I have 100% not had any accident in it so for you to suggest otherwise is out of order.

I'm sorry that the car wasn't what you hoped.

£4k for a FRS, even cat D I would expect a few issues. seems an ok buy to me. Would suggest proper detail pictures and not the arty ones posted might help people get a better idea of condition and less time wasting for the seller and potential buyers.

At that price you would expect a project surely! It's got to be worth more in parts

Im no expert on these but I would have thought 4k for a relatively straight 56k FRS was stonking value even on a Cat D!!!

I would think £4k for a cat d still needing a few things doing is under priced.you'll be looking at double that for a decent straight one now
