Hi,

I recently had an issue where my cylinders were misfiring, turns out to great expense that I needed a new coil pack, spark plugs and HT leads. However recently it has become very sluggish accelerating, and struggles to get past 80mph, however for a 1.8 petrol 03 plate focus is not good. There also sounds like the exhaust is blowing a bit, when car was MOT'd a gasket/ manifold was fixed near engine. Obviously this is a danger as it struggles up hills. Any suggestions, as I am not mechanically minded at all.

Possibly a blocked cat/exhaust due to the previous problems.
