Default 3 door sierra cosworth

Putting up for sale my moonstone blue 3 door sierra cosworth because i want an escort cosworth. It has covered 74,000 miles and has 6 former owners. Car under went a full restoration a few years ago and had a full respray including underneath and in the archs in 2006. work is standered apart from a rs 500 spoiler and headlight protectors. Moted untill september no tax. http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/rsocbb/showthread.php?t=147865

Engine
low comp bottom end
T34 turbo
air craft spec wiring loom
3 bar map sensor
green injectors
alloy rs 500 intercooler
alloy rad
bailey dumo valve and tanks
samco hoses
k and n
s/s exhaust

Interior

the driver seat bolster is loose and the drivers door car is cracked. the dash is a sapphire one and has extra gauges.

Wheels and suspention

standered wheels with good tyres
koin adjustable suspention

Price is 12,000 no offers. I would do a deal with an escort cosworth or a black escort turbo.

Car is in Aberdeenshire.

Great deal of work gone into that, but it was 4 odd years ago.

How have the repairs held up and what sort of condition is it in now?

Good 3 door this one, any potential buyers won't be dissapointed. I've had a good look round this car. You won't get better at this money.

back up for sale. Boy bought it and drove it about 20 mile and stopped for fuel. Noticed there was water leaking from some where, so i told him to bring it back. turns out it was leaking from the water pump. So i gave him is money back and its getting a new one fitted this weekend.

I thought he would have taken it once it was sorted but no. I know the car is a genuine car so had no worries about taking it back and sorting it.

Same car as before just with a brand new water pump.

Just looked at the restoration thread for this car, totally amazed at all the work that went in to restoring it!!

It must have been like a brand new car when it was finished.

I'm surprised it is for sale for only £12k this has to be the bargain of the century.

If this was detailed and put in a showroom it would sell for £20k+ surely?

Cheers

Andy

Don't get me wrong the car looks nice but how long do repairs like that last? Rear arches, strut tops, sills etc?

Surely for the price that is no bad thing. It isn't concours and the chap is not asking concours money. Not sure that is a valid comment, opinion or not

Yeah that's it. Some people we're saying it was to cheap but its not 17k cause its nae original and never will be. Just a dam good car. Ive had it out since fixing the water pump and to be honest ive stopped driving it cause i actually like it better than the ecos just now. If it wasn't worth so much ide keep it.
