Moved my thread to this project forum, since my car will be a small project along the way..

About the car, its a 1988 Sierra Cosworth in gloss black, in immaculate condition. No rust, and good paing, mint interior, proper stereo built in early 2000....

The rear window cover has been removed, along with the headlamp eyebrows. Has got freshly painted front and rear bumper.
Needs a proper detailing job on the exterior. '

Next on the list is fitting orange indicators and rear lights...

 

nice to see one in good condition! although the steering wheel is on the wrong side

 

Finally fitted original rear lights in good condition, along with new side repeaters. Fitted a original grill insert, and a mint 2wd steering wheel. New rubbers on the clutch and brake pedal aswell. But missing the rubber on the throttle pedal if someone got one??

 

Good to change the steering wheel back to Original.

Looks really nice. What size tyres are on it. They look bigger than normal.

 

Yes the tyres are 225/50, but will soon be swapped for the original size as i think they look to big..

The car is not going through any big modfifications or other operations, all thats left is fitting new tyres, fog light surrounds and a proper detailing job..

 

Probably 98% the rarest 2wd Sapphire Cosworth colour in the UK.Crystal used to be and mercurys but gloss black RHD are very few and far between now.Iirc they were special order only.I know yours is a lefty but I bet as there is not a lot of them.

 

I got told there was only 20 left in black.

 

That sounds really good. I have never heard og any other gloss black 2wd in norway, so know its a pretty rare car. Especially also with the rare 2wd leather interior..

 

Wonder how many og the original numbers were LHD's...
