Default Poly V belt

Im after a shorter Poly v belt im not sure on measurements yet.Whats the best way to get the perfect measurement to ensure I get the right belt.

run a piece of string around all of the pulleys and tensioner so both ends meet, then just measure the length of the string and get a poly vee belt in that length mate.

Sounds good to me.Can you get a shorter belt ie 500mm?

If tou going tp run the alternator at the front why dont you biy a non ac puma belt I just got ome I can measuere it for ya

Hi Ryan im only using the crank pully alternator pully and the water pump pully.Wouldnt your belt be to long?

When I supercharged mine and had to get a new belt, I ran some string round and measured it, then done the same thing again but slackened the tensioner fully.... Then got a belt in the middle of the two measurements, so the tensioner was bang in the middle of its range of movement.

I would'nt know just having a guess tbh but il measure it and see it loads smaller then the one I had on before thou

I no its gonna be short my last belt was a 1050mm im think this could be 600/700mm ive not seen any on ebay in that size lol

Put old belt on, cut it to size then measure.

Then buy new belt.

Im after a 840mm belt 4 ribbed not 6 ribbed.Can you get an 840mm belt?

I went for an 830mm belt in the I had a bit extra in length.I don't have a lot of movement on the alternator.
