30 years of the S1 rs turbo
Am i been thick or will the S1 be 30 years this year and are there / will there be any events for this ect...

John Tommyskeeper the registrar for the S1's will know if anything is planned, my gut feeling is if anything is happening it will be far lower key than the 25year celebrations as 30 years is not really a celebrated thing

Ideas have been discussed, including one in conjunction with SeriesOneTurbo site, and magazine interest gained but as Steve (1-PD) says above there will be less than the 25th anniversary.
Nothing to announce until after the RSOC AGM (Feb 23rd) where all registrar positions are up for up for election.

The price high they reached at 25 years was crazy and have been dropping ever since, my brother could not shift his S1 at 6k so broke it and made 7k, mad or what

Really good S1s are going for £20k now - Have registered two on RSOC at that price in the last month! Mid prices have dropped from 5 years ago but quality is still rising. Don't expect so much of a bubble for the 30th birthday.
