My dad's 2006 Mondeo Mk3 2.0 TDCi has a bit of a problem.

Because it had a little warm start issue, he took it to a garage who for some reason swapped injectors 1 and 4 round to test something.

Now it won't start all. Apprently they've tried recoding them several times.

He's taken it to a different garage now. They managed to get it running on carb cleaner. As long as you keep the revs over 2500 rpm it runs just fine. But if you take your foot of the throttle it just dies

Any ideas?

 

If you haven't already get it plugged into a diagnostic to see if there are any fault codes logged.

 

No fault codes at all, no glow plug light, etc...
