Advisory's are both rear subframe bushes.

Im guessing they are going to be a pain and not cheap labour wise?

What sort of £££ am I looking at?

Advisory on abit of welding and a bearing but that isn't too bad!

 

Piece of piss mate, your better of dropping the beam as it makes life alot easier

Easy job if you drop the beam off. Only two bushes on the rears anyway!

 

I just dropped the beam down then attacked the rubber with a drill to get the inside of the bush out. Then I hot a hacksaw and cut the outer part of the bush then chesiled it out. I checked my pooma over cause its due its mot next week and I noticed there is plenty of movement on the bushes I fitted. This is properly what causes the rear tyres to wear off.

 

such a cheap fix but a pain in the ass to do

 

I checked my rear bushes cause my car has just passed its mot. They arnt worn but if you lever them with a bar they dont half move. Poly bushes would get rid of the play and are easier to refit.

 

Mine knock like hell, he said he should of failed them really but I said id get them done asap!

How much would someone charge me on average to do them?

 

Drilled mine out with a drill and hss holesaw without the pilot drill fitted , then got the metal shell out "gentley" with a junior hacksaw and finally a big screwdriver .not to bad a job.

 

I would say an hours labour plus parts and defo get poly ones not OE

 

I set to mine with a drill too. I wish I fitted poly bushes now.
