Hi fellas thought id put up some pics of my project as Ive had some good info from you guys on here and it only seems good manners its a 1966 mk1 2 door cortina which I bought last year as a rolling shell. Plan is to probably tub the rear end, cosworth yb turbo for gogo as stock looking as possible and only ford bits allowed !
Shell seems pretty solid,it already has a steering rack conversion and a pinto fitted, needs a few pieces of welding done and a lot of strengthening. I bought a yb just before christmas which Ive been working away on. Just needs the usual suspects doing (i hope!!) camshaft oil seals lots of gaskets turbo rebuild , good clean up and lots of powder coating! More engine pics to follow at weekend
