Default Seat repairs

Hi Guys and Girls.

I brought complete Focus ST170 interior but the drivers seat air bag had gone off and has obviously damaged the seat.

From looking at it, i'm hoping to just removed the air bag as my car doesn't have the capability to run a seat air bag and have the seat re stitched back together.

Anyone around Hertfordshire area know someone who could help?

I will post some pics later of the damage.

the stiching in the seat is weaker to allow for the airbag to blow off

you can remove the entire material from the seat and get it redone, it's not difficult

This is the damage,

I have cut away the airbag, as my car doesn't have the wiring loom for a replacement airbag anyway

Could this be repaired?

easy repair, just stich it back up again

they use extremly weak thread in that area so that the stiching breaks rather than the panel of leather so anyone worth their salt will be able to make it good again
