Default Any Ford Focus Expert In Peterhead Aberdeenshire Area

Hi,

This is extremely cheeky, but I am wondering is there is a Ford Focus expert in the Peterhead, Aberdeenshire Area who might have a heart of gold to help us.

There has been a 110 engine installed as a replacement engine into a Focus TD 90 by a garage who the car was bought from, and we need to know firstly has it been installed properly, were all of the modifications done, and could the replacement have caused the problems it is currently having.

We have been advised to seek a Ford Expert to help with this, but I have no idea how to get a report done, and I don't think there are funds to cover it.

It's amazing that to prove a garage has done something wrong, you have to bear the brunt of the costs.

Thanks for everyone's time

H

Surely the engine is the same. It will just be the ecus that give you the extra bhp????

It's not normally their bag but you could try WRTuning who are based in Peterhead. Will Robson is your man

Phone number is on there. Will used to work at Moravian Ford in Buckie, maybe still does. WRTuning deals mostly with FST and FRS.

Hi, thanks for both of your replies. Whilst having a conversation with Ford, they said there would have been a few modifications needed in putting the 110 into the 90, one modification would have been something needed for the gearbox as they had different gear boxes.
