My brother asked me to look at his girlfriends fiesta as it was reving at about 2500rpm, I found a big split in a vacume pipe under the inlet manifold, I thought easy fix, I have temporaly taped it up and refitted, Now the car wont idle at all !!!!!
The car has been driven for a while no improvement, Then the battery was diconnected for about 15 mins which still left the same situation after a good drive still no idle but it did throw up the engine light which i checked and the fault code was P0106, Which i think may point to map sensor ?
Any thought s please ?
