Default Fiesta Puma Conversion

I am thinking of doing a Puma engine conversion on my Fiesta but wanted to know a couple of things before I do so.

First of all I have a 1.4 Fiesta with the Zetec-S engine is it a straight swap?

Second if I get one from the same year (1997) will the wiring loom plug straight in to the existing loom in my Fiesta?

Third will I need to replace the ECU?

I am going to buy a whole Puma (rusted/mot failure) as its cheaper & will have everything I need I just want to make sure I know exactly what I need as this is the first time I have done an engine swap although my dad has done one many years ago on a different car

Thanks

I see .
I am after a 1.6 Zetec s engine for a project I am doing and it's easier to get turbo piston and bits for a 1.6 than a 1.7 .
I have a old Zetec s with puma running gear that I am going to break

Thanks but it will probably be a couple of months before im able to start the project. Will I need to buy new engine mounts or can I just use the ones from the puma donor car?

I had a donor puma , and just swopped it all over , so in my case no other mounts were needed

That's what I want to do. Did the loom plug straight in to the existing car loom?
