Default Custom Focus Stainless Steel Inlet Manifold. pics

In the process of making my own inlet manifold, will be using the st170 manifold for the injectors, just need a few more bits and ready to start welding, will hopefully be able to use a standard idle control valve with it and will have all connections for the vac hoses.

Should be fine, if people are willing to run 'phatt' cone air filters next to exhaust manifolds im sure stainless steel will be fine

That's a good question, stainless is easily available to me through work as we don't use much aluminium. Might make another one some day and will try ally next time

I wouldn't be using an ST170 lower inlet on a normal Zetec

IIRC the port spacings are completely different, I'll try and get a picture to confirm for you tomorrow as it's been years since I've looked at Zetec engine bits

Oh, I'd be very surprised if that is the case as many people have used them without issue. A picture would be great, thank you.

Not as big a difference as I can remember but as you can see the ST170 port sits higher in the head as well as being bigger
