need to knpow decent invoice software ya ca get hold off
, i got a new idea and need to invioce people for the new idea that i sell to people, what software invoice packages are there available, needs to look as profesional ( read expensive) as i am gonna be charging for it
this is serious but of no use to any car people
whats out there to buy, i like what stu uses as its well laid out and also not easy to replicate either making it hard to forge the amounts
You'd be far better using a copy of Sage Instant accounts. Much easier to use for what you want than excel, and has far more features. Excel is ok, but certainly if u want to go pro, u should use the right tool for the job.
excel will produce a pro invoice, just need a little more skill, Rick
I know, in the right hands. But if u want to get software... I advise on IT to businesses, and it's just not something i could recommend doing.
and rick knows im a idiot on most things, what chance i got on a pc

I'd use Sage Line 50 as then you wouldn't have to transfer all your data, when your idea grows and most, if not all, accountants will be able to use the data and reports if you needed them to
You can also keep all your client/supplier info on there, if you wanted to do a mailshot and use the 'department' reports to make mini Profit & Loss statements for each project or whatever
Sage is the only accounts package i have come across that is designed for Non Accounting people. Instead of Debtors and Creditors, it uses normal terms like Customers and Suppliers respectively.
You can alter the design of the invoices in a design wizard
ps I do accounts and find it the best and most simple package to use, even over a tailor made Microsoft package i used
Forgot to say, obviously you can also apply the payments to the invoices, if you give/receive credit which is a great way to keep track of cashflow
Excel will not be able to do this
