Got the car which to be fair wasn't a bad example. Drove it home from derby and started working through a few jobs. It still wants a fair bit doing but overall not a bad car. It's reg is F518 YKF. Anybody on here know it ?

 

It looks a nice car matey. I dont see many old Fords about where I live.

 

No me neither mate , was working at darlo recently and seen a driveway full ov old fords ! don't know if you know the guy sierra xr4 x4 , mk4 xr3i , mk2 xr2 and mk1 fiesta. nice collection but all needed work
Unsure what route to go down with this car. Only mods are 90 sec bumper and spoiler , -31 actuator and stainless pipe 4" outward. Got some koni's with 40mm drop springs , unfitted and a turbo systems chipped ecu also unfitted. Oilpump gasket is pissing oil out at the moment so thats the next job on the list.

 

this looks like my old one, how long did the previous owner have it for?

 

He said between 2 and 3 year. When i got it it had 88 spec rear spoiler , that's all externally i've changed . It had at somepoint had a knock on the front drivers corner , slam panel was bodged in a bit and the bonnet. i guess thats why it had the 90 spec front bumper. i'm the fourth owner on the logbook.

Here's a couple of pics of some jobs I've done. When I got the car the front panel had been dinged and looked a bit rough.



I picked a new front panel up at Newark auto jumble for £12. So had to fit it.

I thought while it was all stripped I'd crack on and do under the arches. here's before


And heres after




Then also had the front bumper painted.

Next there's new shocks , springs disc's and pads.

Does anybody know where I can get some no plates made up with the RS logo. Being looking about but can't seem to find any at the moment. Not even on epay !
