Default Already got rid of the Scooby  and bought this.....

Another one!!!!!

JAP WRX STi SPEC-C

This is basically the car that Prodrive base the Group N rally car on. It's well over 100kg's lighter than the standard STi and has all the extra bits on it, including:

Twin Scroll Turbo roller beraing turbo
Equal length manifold
335bhp / 330lbft
Driver Controlled Centre Diff (DCCD)
Roof vent
STI Spec C Front Lip Spoiler
Lightweight glass
Lightweight roof
No impact bars in doors
Different Heads
Different Cams
Oil cooler

But has also had fitted..
STI Defi gauge set (Oil Pressure, Temperature, Boost pressure)
PSI3 unit with shift light
18” Prodrive gold wheels
AP racing 6 Pot brake upgrade
Uprated front and rear ARB's
Anti-lift kit
STI pedal set

This thing hugs the road and flies like a rocket, being basically built to track out of the box.

Now I seriously need to learn how to drive!

SpecC's are weapons, good call

How many weeks till you chop it in and get Litcho to get you a Type25?

Flo, Skyline GTR's come in V-spec guise, you were probably thinking about those.

Rhys,
Not really.... I had already changed the ARB's, moved to alloy dropped links and also had an anti-dive/Anti-lift kit fitted on monday to the UK model (which made a huge difference to the handling) and have been looking at the extra power route..... until I was this yesterday for a price that was cheaper than going the mod route on my UK car (after selling my UK car and buying this one). Just made perfect sense and means I have a very good base car now with all the whistle's and bells on.

The Centre Controlled Diff means I can basically make it wheel rear drive at the flick of a switch and the turn of a variable switch..... normally used to manually change the handling characteristics to under steer or over steer etc etc, depending on surface type. Or I can ram it in AUTO and let it work it out itself. Good for donuts as well!!! Changes the torque in effect between front and rear.

Flo,

You are correct to an extent as the classic shape had a "V-Limited" edition.

Very cool - fav new shape scoob

Not sure why you need a car that goes faster and handles better though? Or do you need to take that last turn out of the garage a little quicker?

Seriously, nice car
