Default mixing fully synthetic oils ????

Hi,

I am using silkolene pro s 10w50 fully synthetic at the moment but I need a top up, the oil is just on the min mark on the dipstick. Only problem is that the shops around my way dont sell silkolene and plus Im skint till next week so cant afford to order a 5L tub from oilman So, is it okay to mix fully synthetic oils, it will only be a litre of the new stuff but it wont be 10w50, what do people think ?

Leave it till next week when you get paid unless your burning oil. But there is no harm in having it at the min mark. Its alot better than too much oil

Fully synthetic oils don't mix as there chemical based and not natural. So unless your topping up using the same oil, you'll have to change the whole lot.
