Just had an altercation with a builder who decided to spit over my car He seemed to have a lot to say until I got out to discuss the matter. He drove on and I followed until he pulled into the police station car park whereupon it errupted into fisticuffs.

Don't think the chunky builder was expecting skinny bloke to have so much to say or do about it. I actually scared myself as I haven't lost it like that for years I really was out of control and didn't know my temper could be that bad. Actually feel a bit embarrased about my behaviour.

Pulled out of a junction onto the main road while he was reversing off a drive a little further up and he thought he had the right of way. Wasn't even close FFS

Yes I had a swing. I'm not proud of myself at all. Anybody that knows me knows if I was any more laid back I'd be lying down. I was just thinking "twat" until he started spitting then I just lost it completely.

 

No nobody came out despite all the shouting, bad language and thudding.

I know how much you love your car mate, so I understand your reaction cus if anything its only your motor I have EVER seen you get seriously worked up about.

Road Rage is a funny thing, even the most laid back people can see red especially when their pride and joy is involved.

I remember giving a woman an ear-bashing she'll never forget because she was doing her make-up and nearly tail-ended me...once that adrenaline starts rushing you do things which can be out of character so don't be too hard on yourself fella

 

Been for a walk round the car park at the office and cleaned the car up. Feel a bit more chilled now.

Still feel a bit embarrased by it all though.

Last time I felt that out of control with rage I was back at school

Thinking about it though it must have looked funny seeing a skinny bloke trying to pull a hairy builder out of his van through the window

I'm chilled out again now so can see the funny side in it all

 

Thing is, it wouldnt of been so funny if he had jumped out and hit your car with a hammer or something, or hit you with it....

Sometimes i get REALLY wound up when other people cut me up or similar, but i force myself to drive away or i will end up doing something that ill regret or get myself into some dodgy situation i wont want to be in!

i think its the case of if the guy hadnt of spat on ur car u wouldnt of done nething cos u find most chilled ppl can take all the verbal abuse in the world but when some1 corsses the line and actually does something visical then theres war

I get road rage sometimes, never gone so far as to get out of a car andpunch a guy

old people and women who canny drive for shit, but I usually just let it slide and mutter a few words to myself , mainly because I'll proberly be like that when I'm older, hopefully not
