Default 2009 KA - External Temperature Sensor.

Hi Guys, My 2009 Ka has an external temperature reading & frost warning light, it's been reading strangely (-35degC) and randomly for a while.

I'm betting on corrosion in the connection to the sensor. Anyone know where it's located, and more importantly, how much stuff do I need to remove to get at it?

Thanks!
Pete

Autodata shows it's location as OSF (driver's side) mirror, I've tried looking on the Ford ETIS but can't see it listed on there.

ok, The frost sensor is indeed in the Passenger's door mirror. It's wiring is with the electric mirror wires. I found the connector, opened it up and there's no corrosion at all. So, how much is a replacement sensor? £85!
as it's not sold seperately from the whole door mirror assembly!

So That's not going to happen!

Anyone got a busted up passinger door mirror I can have the sensor out of please?
