Default diamond white series 2 rebuild

Hi all, after a long day I'm proud to say I'm the new owner of a lovely diamond white series 2 escort, some of u may recognize the car, baggy1979 has been restoring it for the past 3-4 years and has done a great job so far, unfortunately for him he had 2 sell as a project, however a gain for me and I plan 2 carry on the great work and detail he has, watch this space.....

Whats the plans for the XR3i?

I'd keep it standard, no need to replicate the Series 2 with such a clean shell.

(I assume you do realise its not a series 2 as per the thread title)

Cossie is all good mate but planning to do some tidying up over the winter. Ashley said I can leave my car down his garage so I'll take him up on that he's now got another ramp fitted and the pit is now redundant so he said I can leave my car on there. I want to do an underside resto which would be a lot easier on there than laying on the floor lol could really do with sending my coilys of for a refurb as well as I noticed the drivers rear is leaking I phoned gaz up and they said its only Ł160 to refurb all 4 shocks back as if they were new so I'll take them off and get them sent away. Once I get it down the garage I'll start a thread up

Wow - that looks fantastic - those wheels really suit the RS.
Can't wait to see it all built back up - definitely one of the cleanest series 2's around. Keep up the good work!

Love that, looks really good on the Comps!! Reminds me of my old 90spec RST, just a lot cleaner!
What's the two wires hanging down the front? Your not going to put the spotlights on are you?!

Thanks for the comments, I'm running cossie rear discs and as for the wires on the front, they are for twin fans on the front, just got to sort the wiring/plugs for them
