From what I've read they all do that so you have to fettle the inner arch a bit

Very annoying rubbing sound that does your nut it as said you have to modify the inner arch a bit usually with a hammer

Would it be possible to move the mounting point on the bottom arm or would that totally ruin the handling?

I wouldn't even use them on a road car full stop, horrid things.

But to answer your question Adam, quite a few seem to catch from what I've heard, how you solve it i don't know so I'm pretty useless really aren't i ?

some do, some dont its all down to tollerances when all the pannels are spot welded together!

i ususally solve it by moving the base of the coilover right out towards the outer side of the mount and make an offset spacer for the rosejoint.

but i only use 909 Tarmac stuff, might help you, might not lol

Never had any problems with stuff catching with my Gaz Golds or AVOs on my previous car.
To be honest I wouldn't want to go back to a regular setup.
Coilovers are what you make of them.... adjustment is the key!
