I've had it for about a month now and so far it's had new wheels (escort cosworth not in pic), brand new front headlights and clear indicators as the old ones had corroded inside, clear square side repeaters, clear rear lights and loads of chrome detailing under the bonnet and fixed the exhaust. I have a hid kit ready to go in the new headlights to get rid of the yellowish bulbs as well. Future plans are to get it set up on a rolling road to just confirm the bhp (should be about 180-190) and make sure everything is as it should be along with some more detailing under the bonnet just to finish it off.

Sounds like a cool project but please change the rear lights you have back to the standard ones.

Only problem is they have to come straight back off as there isn't enough arch clearance

Thanks guys, the s2 wheels were of my old xr3i which I haven't got anymore. Going to be refurbishing the wheels in anthracite soon as I prefer darker look alloys.

Had the rear bumper off today to replace it and check and make sure I had no rust and I'm very impressed as I've been over the whole car now and there's no welding or rust anywhere

Managed to get a few jobs done since the last update, fitted the tarox front discs with new pads and cleaned and painted the front calipers while it was apart. I also managed to fit the front strut brace and rocker cover that I painted along with a few blue hose covers to hide the red mfi unit pipes.

Last of all was today was actually sunny for a day so I took out all the glass and light tinted it all the way around also greased all the runners while they were out along with cleaning and polishing under all the window rubbers.

Thought all the extra security would help in this day and age and along with the brand new cat1 alarm/immobilizer and extra immobilizer this would keep her safe.

Well this weekend the turbos on axle stands again lol, I wanted to change the wheel colour so I've done an inside out refurb in anthracite. Now got to wait for the new carbon fibre centre caps to arrive and go and get them all freshly balanced before fitting them back on.

All painted in 2k paint so it's nice and glossy as well as very hard wearing, I'm very pleased with under the bonnet but just want to find a couple of other chrome parts to finish it (air filter surround, batter cover, coil cover).

Looking great there mate.... Done a really good job.... Loose the dumpvalve though. Honestly, I used to love mine, I was persuaded to take it off and wow what a difference! A good strong boost and a sharp flutter!

Well I thought as we had a few good days of sun I would use the cab for a couple of days as I've not driven it properly for a while. Went out and bought a new battery as the old one wasn't to healthy and off came the roof and away it went. Couple of pics
