Default Saph 4x4 turbo

Hi need some advice on my saph cos 4x4 turbo???

It's running a standard T3 (which has just been set up with new chip) & made 346 bhp on the rollers which I was well happy with as it only had a stage 1 on 4 the past 10 yrs!!! So the drive home was sweeeeeeeet ( it's already got rs500 cooler, group A head gasket, big cone filter etc etc.... Basically I was contemplating either a T34-63 or maybe getting the standard T3 modified in some way???

I'm not after mad power & high speed runs!!!!! Just want off the lights fun as its just a weekend toy when the weather is nice, to take the wife & young 1 out & have a bit of fun!!!!!

Thanks in advance

So would it be better to get the T3 upgraded, & what else can b done with them instead of having a T34??
Thanks Lee

If you change your turbo spec you will need a new chip for that turbo.

So i'd have you current turbo reconditioned with a 360 bearing. if you go for a bigger type T34 you will flow more air which will affect you air fuel ratio hence the new chip.

I have a t35.55 with everything needed to go with it. Live mapped by Tony@turbosystems and its fantastic for weekend toy. Althoug more power would be great i wouldnt go anymore as its plenty fast.

346 seems a really good figure id be tempted to leave it as it is, if your after something responsive etc then this is probably the most responsive it will be on the t3.

good to see another stokie on here where abouts are you from fella

Making that power I would of said as its not a standard t3 imo.

Mine never made that running greens t3 @22 psi -34 etc.Anymore would be overspeed would it not plus i wouldnt like to chance greens for over 330.
If you have had it on the rollers and done 346 I am very impressed. Before I replaced my knackered turbo, act and cooler mine did 310 !! At a "guess" which is silly I know.I would of said mine was 320-330.
